Biography
Marcia has a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and California Teaching Credential at UC Berkeley, 1964. She taught 4 years of public kindergarten, Richmond, CA. In Connecticut she received music improvisational traning from 1987-l990 from Music for People, a network that fosters self-expression through music and improvisation, founded on the conviction that music is a natural creative expression available to everyone. Marcia graduated as an accredited teacher for Music for People.
Marcia founded Music & Me, Music and Movement Program for Parents and Children, Ages 6 months-5 years, in 1990, which offers a relaxed drum circle orientation that encourages small children and their families to explore sound, rhythm, and dance at their own pace. Marcia's locations are Hamden, Shelton, Middlebury, Woodbridge, and Woodbury.
