We are all music and dance makers, whether we know it or not! We have beautiful minds, bodies and spirits that expand when we become familiar with simple methods of musical and dance expression.
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS: Marcia Nelken can be hired for a one-hour presentation, or a series, at your facility, school, or home within the larger New Haven Area. A large drum circle is created. Amadinda, a large wood xylophone with its mellow pentatonic scale, is placed in the center of the circle. Around the circle are placed African xylophones & drums, chromatic metal xylophones, triangles, Tibetan cymbals, chimes, kalimbas, gongs, shakers, and castenets. With Marcia's facilitation the group creates a unique sound environment similar to many world music traditions. We are out to simply have fun.

MUSIC PROGRAMS FOR SENIORS OR SENIOR LIVING SITUATIONS: Marcia can be hired for a one-time or weekly presentation in the larger New Haven area. A 1-hour music program with instruments, scarves, drums and dancing.
